Wood or asphalt shingles are a good type of roof system because they are a durable roof that adds value to your home giving it a nice curb appeal. Wood shingles are good for those who want a natural-looking roof that is biodegradable and storm-resistant. Asphalt shingles are good for those who want a good-looking roof without a lot of extra expense.

Not replacing your old roof can mean a lot of things for you and your family and most of them are not good. Let Raven Roofing fix it for you.

Don’t put off a roof replacement you need. Most roofs are designed to last for 20-30 years but rain, wind, and abuse can shorten that time. The damage from a leaky roof can cause mold, collapsing drywall and other misery. Here is how we fix it for you.

Our Process

Great jobs for you begin and end great because of the Raven Roofing process. It starts with a great conversation between you and our lead employee. You will show our lead your issues and our lead will offer best practices. From the interview the process moves smoothly to your getting a beautiful new roof.

Our Process

STEP ONE: Project Interview

Clearly understanding the issues and your concerns helps the estimator review the issues he will bid. He may order a satellite measurement of your roof. He will visually inspect the roof at the time of the appointment with you.

STEP TWO:Estimate

We complete the interview and inspection. And, get the correct measurements. Then the estimator will use professional software to generate a detailed estimate for your review. We will discuss together any questions you have about it.

STEP THREE: Job Approval

You agree that working with Raven Roofing is your best option. You sign the estimate and make your deposit payment. Raven Roofing then orders all materials needed to do your job right. Many times, your new materials will be loaded on to your roof by the supplier.

STEP FOUR: Work Commenced

On a date agreed with you, our crews show up make needed repairs. We clean up your site. All work is completed in 5 to 10 days.

STEP FIVE: Project Completed

The crew has done their job. You review the job with the Lead crew member or estimator. Everyone is happy! You make the final payment to Raven Roofing and live safely under a dry roof.

Part of our interview will help you to establish the right material for your roof. All of the materials above do well in Utah’s hot summers and cold winters. If we are replacing one material for the same type of material, that is easy. If you are going to a newer “look” for your roof, we can do it. However, we may need to help you with adjustments to the structure under your roof.

Frequently asked questions

Questions and good answers are the life blood of an effective relationship. Raven Roofing and Renovations wants to be your contractor for all your projects. Therefore, we work hard at answering your questions like the ones below.
Does Raven Roofing have a Utah Contractor's license?

Yes! We will give you that number when we present you with your estimate.

Are Raven Roofing employees properly covered with Workman's Compensation Insurance?

Yes! Always. Raven Roofing staffing can provide you with the answers you need.

What about subcontractors? Does Raven Roofing ever use "subs"?
Again, yes, Raven Roofing many use subcontractors on your job. If so, they are also insured and you are protected.
What happens if you have weather related delays?

Good question. Weather can be unsafe for you and the crew on your roof. Therefore, weather can delay your roof for a day or two. Also, note roofing is rarely done in winter because of ice and snow.

Do you ever add crews to a job that is delayed by suppliers or weather?
Good question. The answer is “no” as a general rule. Why? Because it is a safety factor. You have heard of the saying “too many cooks in a kitchen”? This applies equally to roofs. Too many roofers on a roof can be dangerous.
How many days will it take to finish my roof?

Well, that is an important question. Because each roof is unique in size and materials, you will receive in the estimate a time frame in which Raven Roofing expects to complete the job.
