Tile or Slate Roofs

They have a long life when properly maintained. They can endure the extreme temperatures of Utah. If you are thinking of a tile roof, give us a call and we can review options with you.
Tile and slate roofs can be beautiful on most architectural styles of homes. If this is the type of roof you want, Raven Roofing will make sure you get it.
When you are building your dream home, you want the best. Many consider tile or slate roofs to be just that. The best. They can last 50 years when properly installed and maintained. Tile and slate withstand snow, hail, wind and extreme heat when properly insulated. They are beautiful and have many options in terms of style. They are also top-of-the-line expensive. It starts with the “trusses” or structure holding the roof which must be engineered for the heavy “load” or weight of the tile. (Remember, tile and slate are difficult to match color-wise when making repairs).

If you are thinking “can you repair my broken tiles”! Call us and let’s us come help you with the right materials for your roof.

Then when you have decided that our suggestions are the way to go, let’s do it! It is important to know that generally you cannot use tile as a replacement material if your original roof was made of asphalt or wood shingles. Remember your trusses need to be reinforced so they can carry the heavier load. Here is how we go from here to there.

Our Process

Like our other processes here at Raven Roofing and Renovations, it is focused on taking care of you. It is focused on getting the job done right. Here is how it works.

STEP 4: Work Commenced

On a date agreed with your builder, our crews show up make needed repairs. We clean up your site. All work is completed in 5-10 days.
